Improved CD product

From feedback I was given it was to improve my CD back as it was hard to read the text and also looked too messy so I improved on this with the effects I used, also I added a barcode to the back of the CD cover as well. My product didn't have a a spine to I created a spine to create a whole CD album.

Poster

This is my poster improved from feedback and that was to add on a relase date to the poster as it looks more professional music poster and the audience and other students agreed with this and also said that they really like my music poster.

Poster with own image

This is my poster with an image of my actress I have taken and manipulated to fit in with my idea, also it has strong links with CD cover as well. I have also asked my audience and I have feedback saying that they really like my idea for the poster and they really like how the products have been linked together, also they like the abstract idea I have taken my digi pack products in as well.

CD cover front and back

These are the new CD cover mock ups with my own images on it and I have also included the back of what the CD cover would be with the songs as well.

Photoshoot

Now I have had my photo shoot with my actress I am not able to add my own images to the mock ups I have created and now I am going to edit my photographs into the ideas and I can also develop my ideas as I have taken a variety of photos of my actress in different positions so I am able to put my person on the CD cover in different places.

Poster Improved

This is my poster I have created with the same effects as I used on my first CD cover so that the products are linked together by the effects and style that has been used so you can tell the to are linked together. The person used on the poster is only used a an outline of where my photograph may go.

This is my music video that I have improved and edited further as timing was the problem with the last draft this one I think I have sorted out the timing issues and edited it further.

New CD cover

This is a new idea for my CD cover as I think there are many ideas that I get from my music and this time I deiced to use the nice weather in the music video to appear in the background of my CD cover as it uses the irony of having a bad day on a really nice sunny good day and I have created this as something that could be used. As I will take a picture of my own actress as the woman is used only a a guide to show wear I could place my actress on the CD cover.
I also took the text idea from previous CD cover as it was something my target market and audience liked and it was somethingI thought I would add it to this one as well. the expression on the girls face really adds to the idea of having a bad on a nice day and this is how my actress should pose when we have a photo shoot to get the right pictures if I used the CD cover. Now I will have to see how my audience will take to this idea to see if they like it or not.

Poster- first thoughts and first idea

Another product I must be designing and also creating is a music poster. But the main thing is all my products must all link together and relate to one and other. I could have the CD cover I have designed to be bigger and maybe a little bit more font and doodles on it or I could have something different from my music video to be bigger on the poster. Also I think I must design some more CD covers as I am able to see the things that people like about them. The poster needs to be bigger and maybe a lot bolder than the CD cover as it will attract the attention of audience.

This is an idea I have had for my poster as it relates back to song and the picture used is sort of what photograph I was aiming for when I have my own photo shoot for my actress. The writing and lined paper are the same as the CD cover so it would link them all together and because of the lyrics it means they are linked together. I must now come up with more ideas for both my CD and poster. The picture I will be using would be of my actress in the same position but this time in colour as it adds the happiness in the image. I would also need to add on the doodles like I have with the CD cover so they would look right together. The poster looks very modern and contemporary which is something I was aiming for but also my target audience wanted as well. Overall this is my very first poster idea and I need to come up with more so my audience can pick what they like out of all of them to create something they really like and would want in their own homes.

This is my music video with some more improvements that were suggested in my feedback from both teachers and target market. The video is sorter than before and the timing is a little better in the video. But I feel there is still more to with timing and maybe add some more effects in to the music video.

Feedback

Miss Malkin- I really enjoyed the music video it was very good and its very heart warming with the shot of the mum and child hugging each other, your use of mise-en-scene is very good and the location choice was excellent choice for the realism in the video. However the only real criticism I have is some of the piano shots are just randomly placed and could do with looking at, and getting the timings right. Overall its very good and realistic and will appeal to your target audience.

Sarah: Its really good Amy and I like how its shot at home so its gives this realistic effect to and its very entertaining. The only problem is the timings in the video with the music that's the only thing I would improve on it.

Hamish: This was very entertaining and its something that I and the rest of the teenagers could relate and fits in well with the music as well. Timings just need to be sorted out.

Rachel: Its great thoroughly enjoyed it the music great and the order of the shots I very good. Maybe have a play around with different transitions and effects. Overall really good.

Kris: Its good video and a good use of camera its something that's serious but also funny sometimes and I really enjoyed. Timing is the only issue.

2nd Draft of music video

This is my second draft of my music video where I have included my music to it now, so I can start sorting out the timing of certain places so the lyrics are said etc. Also I have added effects, transitions and more cuts to the piano so the whole thing is linked together. Now I have been able to upload my video I can now ask my target audience what they think about my music video and what I should do to improve it or add to it, also asking if they actually enjoyed the music video and if they could relate to it. This is my second draft of my music video so I am improving it even further so its better and more professional.

First draft rough cut without any music

This is my first draft of my music video without any real editing and without any music. Shows I have all my footage and its all in order now. My video has been uploaded now and this shows that editing is needed on my music and also the music needs to be added to it show it all links together.

What I am doing now?

I am uploading my music on the my first draft of my music video and now I have signed up to vimeo, so now I can actually upload my first draft of my music video on there and transfer it on to my blog so everyone can see it can give me contrustive feedback on what I should do next and how I can improve my music video, to make it look better and fit in with genre, music and lyrics etc.

Put my footage togther!!

I have put all my shots together in the correct order I want them to go in to fit in with my ideas and planning but also the order I want my story to go in and to fit with my lyrics of the song.

This is a screen shot of my footage all together an showing me editing the length but also putting in my transitions into my footage as well. I am also adding my piano in as well to cut some of the shots, because I think some of them are a bit long but with the piano it links back to the music and makes it seem more of a music video.
